Maven is operated by Johnson Family Ventures LLC. This policy explains how Maven handles personal information when you visit our website, contact Maven by email, create or participate in a project, or use our services.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including names, email addresses, project instructions, collaborator details, email message content, attachments, feedback, support requests, and account or billing information. Payment-card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Maven.
We also collect limited technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, delivery events, diagnostic logs, and campaign attribution. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for essential operation, security, analytics, and measuring campaign performance.
How we use information
- Provide Maven's email-based project-management service.
- Interpret requests, coordinate projects, send authorized messages, and support collaborators.
- Operate billing, authentication, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Measure and improve product reliability, usefulness, and marketing performance.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Service providers and disclosure
We share information only as needed with vendors that help us operate Maven, including hosting, database, email-delivery, artificial-intelligence, monitoring, analytics, and payment providers. We do not sell personal information.
Artificial intelligence
Maven uses artificial-intelligence providers to interpret project communications, draft responses, identify project status, and support product operations. Relevant content may be sent to those providers for processing. Human review may occur for support, safety, quality assurance, or when a user requests assistance.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain project records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect Maven and its users. Retention periods vary by record type. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or object to certain processing. Available rights depend on your location and may be subject to legal exceptions. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in the message. Project and service messages may still be sent when necessary to operate a requested service.
Children
Maven is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Maven changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
